CommonAge is pleased to welcome Nancy Wagacha, Founder of Wells of Hope Centre, Africa, based in Nairobi, to our global network.
Nancy brings over 13 years of experience as Program Director at Wells of Hope Centre in Kenya, where she has led impactful programmes focused on improving the quality of life for older persons. Her work reflects a deep commitment to community-led development, dignity in ageing, and sustainable care solutions.
As of February 2026, Nancy is transitioning into a Founder and Board Governance role, as the organisation progresses toward registration as a Company by Guarantee. This milestone marks an important step in strengthening the Centre’s long-term sustainability and governance.
Nancy’s areas of interest include advocacy and policy, research and education, social entrepreneurship, collaboration and partnerships, and the development of homes and services for older persons.
Her expertise and passion align strongly with CommonAge’s mission to advance healthy ageing through global collaboration and knowledge sharing. We look forward to her valuable contributions to our African Chapter and wider international network.
