Refugee Consortium of Kenya – Promoting a safe environment where the displaced and host populations enjoy justice, and protection and are empowered to achieve their full potential.

The Refugee Consortium of Kenya (RCK) is a leading non-governmental organisation dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of refugees, asylum seekers, and host communities across Kenya and the wider East African region.

Established in 1998, RCK works at the intersection of humanitarian response, development, and peacebuilding, addressing the complex challenges faced by displaced populations. Through its core programme areas—legal aid and governance, peace and social justice, women and girls’ empowerment, and mental health and psychosocial support—the organisation adopts a holistic and rights-based approach to care and inclusion.

By influencing policy, strengthening community systems, and amplifying the voices of vulnerable populations, RCK continues to create pathways for justice, protection, and long-term resilience.
