Bursary Recipient at the IFA Global Conference 2025
We are thrilled to introduce Kandina Mukapuli from Namibia, a final-year Social Work student at the University of Namibia, and one of our 10 bursary recipients attending the International Federation on Ageing (IFA) Global Conference in Cape Town, South Africa (9–12 September 2025).
📱 Kandina’s academic research focuses on elderly persons’ access to mobile technology — a critical and timely topic in today’s digital age. She also played a valuable role in the UNAM Family Caregiving Project, contributing to efforts that support improved care for older persons.
Her passion lies in leveraging digital tools to enhance inclusion, participation, and independence among older people, especially in underserved communities.
