Prof. Magen Mutepfa, Head of our Botswana Country Chapter, was awarded the prestigious 2023 travel bursary funded by the UKRI Healthy Ageing Challenge. She is a professor at the University of Botswana, co-founder of Ageless Inspirations, Botswana and is a Liaison officer for Pass It On Network.
A dedicated psychologist, public health specialist and educator, Magen uses mental and behavioral insights to impact global health. With ten years of cross-disciplinary experience, she provides versatile psycho-therapy support services and is an experienced writer in education, health, and psychology. Prof Magen is also a recipient of the Australian International Postgraduate Research Scholarship and Australia Postgraduate Award.
Thanks to the travel bursary, Magen attended the Global Ageing Conference where she gained valuable insights to further advance our mission in Botswana and beyond.
