We are delighted Dr Sheilu Sreenivasan MA Ph.D the founder President of two Indian NGOs has accepted CommonAge scholarship to attend the IAHSA/ACSA conference in Perth next week.

We are looking forward to meeting Mr. Olayinka Ajomale, the Executive Secretary of African Gerontological Society AGES Nigeria and Executive Director, Centre on Ageing, Development and Rights of Older Persons both based in Ibadan, Nigeria to the the IAHSA/ACSA conference, 30 August – 3 September in Perth next week.

South African Sister Lucia Raseipone has accepted our scholarship offer to attend the IAHSA/ACSA conference, 30 August – 3 September in Perth next week.

We\’re delighted Mr Andrew Semanda will be joining us at the IAHSA/ACSA conference, 30 August – 3 September in Perth on our scholarship programe. He is the executive director and promoter of the Geriatric Respite Care Foundation – Uganda (G.R.C.F-U).

We are delighted Kenyan Hilda Akinyi Owii accepted our scholarship offer to join us at the IAHSA/ACSA conference, 30 August – 3 September in Perth. Ms Owii is a research assistant in the Programme on Ageing and Development of the African Population and Health Research Center.

It is estimated there are about 4,60,000 people with dementia in Bangladesh; the number is expected to rise to 8,34,000 in 2030 and 21,93,000 in 2050.

We are delighted Ruth Mazarura from Zimbabwe has accepted our scholarship offer to attend the IAHSA/ACSA conference, in Perth, 30 August – 3 September.

Mauritius delegate Nathalie Henry will be joining other CommonAge scholarship delegates at the IAHSA/ACSA conference, 30 August – 3 September in Perth.
